Figure of Eight Meditation

To support your ongoing well being. Vitalising and embodying.
If you can hear little "bloop" noises on the recording it is fish jumping! I was sitting next to the estuary whilst making this recording!!

This audio guides you through the much loved figure of eight meditation practice. I recommend bringing this practice into your daily self care routine and working with it regularly rather than just when needed. It is super simple but over the years I have witnessed it having a profound difference.
I developed this meditation in 1999 whilst exploring the best ways to support clients and myself to find a grounded, centred state that is sustainable and nourishing very quickly. When you regularly practice this, you will find that connecting to an energised, relaxed and engaged state when you notice that you are more uncomfortable or disconnected becomes quick and eventually automatic. Deeply nourishing, this meditation supports the integration and awareness of your whole mind and body whilst nourishing and settling the nervous system, physical and energetic body. Can be used when the mind is running away with itself, over-responding to stress or survival patterns to bring energy back into the body and therefore connect in with the intrinsic support systems. When you are beginning this practice start by moving your hips in the figure of eight shape, as though you are circling around each leg. Once you feel connected in this position you can move to the more internal movement of the figure of eight energy, this will take a different length of time depending in your circumstances and for different people. It will be worth it :)

Space For Love

This is a practice that allows space for connection between two people, to enter into a sacred space of witnessing and allowing the love that you share and seeing and hearing each other clearly. One of our fundamental needs as human beings is to be fully seen and heard. This practice is a wonderful formula for developing relationship based on trust and intimacy. It can be used effectively between couples, two family members, children and siblings/ close friends (with some simplification depending on the age) and friendships where there is a desire to be more fully connected and understanding of each other. It requires both parties to want this level of connection.
